Chip and Spray
It is one of the most successful road-resurfacing methods, designed to extend the life of a road’s driving surface. The chip seal process involves applying a layer of asphalt emulsion and aggregate rock over the road. The process consists of liquid asphalt, immediately followed by rock chips.
It can perform asphalt binder spraying and chip spreading processes synchronously, which allows full contact between binders and aggregates, thus resulting in maximum cohesive performance. It can also separately spray or spread asphalt or aggregate in special conditions.
Applications:
1. The vehicle can be widely used in synchronous seal operation of each grade of highway. It is cost-saving, wear-resisting, anti-skidding and waterproof.
2. After construction traffic can be quickly restored. It is suitable for waterproof of road surface and bridge deck, crushed stone seal technology of the lower seal coat and pavement maintenance and repairing.
3. Chip Sealer can perform asphalt binder spraying and chip spreading processes synchronously, which allows full contact between binders and aggregates, thus resulting in maximum cohesive performance. It can also separately spray or spread asphalt or aggregate in special conditions.
